Why Use Us?

In most kitchen cabinet manufacturers and suppliers there is a desire at Director level for customers to talk about the wonderful service they get from their company. However there is also a desire to keep costs to a minimum and profit as high as possible.

The managers and sales staff in your local stores and boutiques are therefore hindered in putting things right after delivery and installation as it affects their costs and profit. On your request they will send their own fitters and surveyors to see what problems there are in your kitchen.

The trouble is that however many issues you can see, there will generally be others you cannot see. A sloppy finish to kitchen cabinets can point to a sloppy installation.

The suppliers own surveyors and fitters are only going to address the points that you raise. This is unfair because you paid for their company's help and advice. The only way of knowing the real standard of the installation is to pay for an independent service like ours.

If you found our site when looking for a kitchen, the advice on purchasing should have given you enough savings to more than cover the cost of our services. If you have just found us, the cost of the survey may well pay for itself in helping you to achieve the room that you wanted and also maximise any compensation you may claim successfully. With kitchens in the UK costing £9000 on average, our fee is a small price to pay for peace of mind.

Plan Checking

Send your plan and costing to the following fax number. Your plan will be scrutinised and checked against the sizes shown as well as the listing to ensure that at this critical stage there is nothing to worry about. We will also offer suggestions when we feel they are relevant if there is a cheaper or better way of doing things.

The cost for this service is £15. You will receive an e mail response with comments on the plan plus alternative suggestions for you to consider.

Survey

We will visit your home and survey your finished or part finished kitchen, we will check the carpentry work, the installation of the units, the levels of worktops and wall units, the installation of appliances, etc etc. In fact we go through a checklist of more than 50 different points.

We will write a report for you based on what can be seen of the installation as far as carpentry appliances electrics and gas are concerned. Then despite what you have been told, you will have a concise list of things that are wrong and need to be addressed.

These things will be listed from excellent, acceptable, minimum standard, below professional standard, of concern, and finally needing immediate action.

We will, at the survey, also advise you as to the best form of action to take to resolve your dispute if you have one.

The cost of this survey in Essex, Kent, Herts is £75.00
